Tony Binns was a great supporter of mine. He was very inspired by my story of the obstacles I have overcome to reach my goal of becoming a doctor, and more so by the work I have been doing through my charity - The Armitage Foundation. He would often send me messages of support which ranged from my charity work to my commitment to fitness. He would joke about the workout videos I post on Instagram, saying that watching them was a workout enough for him! He even came to my book launch in March this year, despite needing to travel to Manchester on the same evening! I’m truly grateful for Tony’s love and support and my thoughts and prayers are with his family.
